Sometimes a person is injured because they step in to protect a child, spouse friend, or stranger from an attacking dog. The fact that the injured person voluntarily intervened does not automatically mean there is no claim. The circumstances matter. If a dangerous situation was created by an uncontrolled dog, the law may still recognize injuries suffered while someone reasonably tried to protect another person. There is a good Samaritan statute that may help. I am Pennsylvania dog attack attorney Jeff Penneys. Call my cell at 215-771-0430 to discuss your rights.
